<< Objectives >>It is the objective of „Roma Women’s Start-up“ that more and more Roma women go the way into self-employment in a self-determined way and accordingly qualified, so that they can - Contribute to the family income with their own, legal, and appreciated work- Strengthen their independence and their freedom of decision- Break the still prevailing family image and role perception step by step - Create role models for coming generations and- Promote their social integration.<< Implementation >>In the three years project, the partners from Slovakia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Romania, Spain and Turkey will implement 5 Work Packages:1. Project Management2. Entrepreneurship of Roma women 3. Education of trainers 4. Testing5. Sustainability<< Results >>The following results are the most relevant in the project:1. 16 educated and certified trainers.2. 70 adult Roma women have successfully participated in an entrepreneurship course and have – in the ideal case – founded or legalised their own business3. In the first 12 months after the foundation, they are coached by the educated trainers based on the needs4. Online Platform for female Roma founders5. Handbook for female founders6. Dissemination and exploitation of the project results.
