<< Objectives >>The EMBRACE Project aims to make a significant contribution for the development of early childhood education and care (ECEC) targeting children up to 3 years. The project provides a holistic and focused approach addressing professional competencies of ECEC Staff (teachers, medical and nursery staff, assistants etc.), development of training materials and adoption of ECEC curriculum as well as raising the awareness among key stakeholders, including parents.<< Implementation >>The activities will be implemented in 5 WPs dedicated to: coordination and communication, preparatory activities, monitoring, risk management, financial control, internal evaluations (WP1); development and testing of EMBRACE Dynamic Activity Book for work with children aged 0-3 (WP2); development and piloting EMBRACE Teachers' Training Programme and Platform (WP3); development of Recommendations for ECEC curriculum development (WP4) and implementing Sharing and Dissemination activities (WP5).<< Results >>Apart from the tangible results from each WP, we expect to benefit 45 ECEC teachers, more than 1500 key stakeholders during the project lifetime and many more afterwards. Some of the intangible outcomes are: improved key competencies of teachers and staff working with children aged 0-3 y/o, teaching competencies, professional development, levels of awareness, quality and relevance in the field of ECEC.
