LIVEVET - Living Lab methodology & innovative business model for transforming VET organizations into main actors towards an inclusive Green and Digital transition

Description

In a nutshell, LIVEVET project aims to evolve the operational model of VET organizations and providers by introducing an innovative business model based on the Living Lab methodology, encompassing an active Public-Private-People Partnership (PPPP) in order to transform VET organization into the main actors that will contribute to an inclusive Green and Digital transition.Living labs are user-centred, open-innovation ecosystems often operating in a territorial context, integrating concurrent research and innovation process within a Public-Private-People Partnership (PPPP). The basis for the strategic development of a VET living lab is in establishing a sustainable stakeholder partnership; VET providers, policy-makers, companies, learners and researchers enter into agreements on the basis of which they may engage in longer term collaboration. The LIVEVET project aligns with key regional policy frameworks, including the ETF Torino Process and the EU Economic and Investment Plan (EIP) for the Southern Neighbourhood. The ETF Torino Process identifies key challenges in VET in Lebanon, Tunisia, Jordan and Egypt, including skills mismatches, limited industry-education collaboration, and the need for a stronger focus on emerging skills for a sustainable economy.
