<< Objectives >>The RockChain project will address the interoperability between the management of ornamental rock waste and blockchain technology, to promote its correct treatment through educational training and to contribute to the sustainability and circularity of the ornamental rock sector.The main objective is to provide professionals from stone industry with digital training tools that increase their qualification to the emerging labour and social needs in terms of digitisation.<< Implementation >>Main activities of the project:-Methods and procedures of Ornamental Rock Waste Management based on concepts of Circular Economy.-New interactive tool based in Blockchain for waste management. Adaptation of stakeholders to innovative technologies and new digital competences, as well as new regulations related to Circular Economy, environment, climate change and resources.-Establish a specialisation curriculum for adult training in waste management and IT for stone industry.<< Results >>Main results of the RockChain project:- European common curricular on Waste Management applying Blockchain technologies for Ornamental Rock Industry.- Learning materials for interdisciplinary Blockchain-Rock Ornamental Waste Management.- e-Learning tool based-on Blockchain-Rock Ornamental Waste focused on Circular Economy.- RockChain Open Educational Resource (OER).- Pilot RockChain Courses for professionals, teachers and students.
