<< Objectives >>This project aims to empower 348 young people and youth workers to be conscious of and engage in active citizenship and human rights advocacy through a series of immersive educational activities including a survey, a board game, a web extension of the board game, learning training and teaching activities and 4 multiplier events for a period of 24 months.<< Implementation >>We will conduct a survey, which is meant to identify the challenges and learning needs related to human rights education. Afterwards, we will start developing the board game and its web extension. We will conduct 1 mobility for teachers and youth workers and 1 blended mobility to foster human rights advocacy at an experiential level. We will host 4 multiplier events to ensure a wider audience to our outcomes.<< Results >>After conducting the survey, we will write a report, highlighting the challenges and learning needs and also providing strategies to effectively involve youth in human rights advocacy and participation in civic life, in general. We will develop a board game and a web extension of it, aspects which represent the keystones of our project. The mobilities will generate intangible outcomes, such as advocacy skills among youth and knowledge on how public institutions run the decisional process.
