The project seeks to empower vocational education and training institutions in Colombia, Venezuela and Brazil by equipping them with the skills, knowledge and strategic partnerships necessary to modernise agricultural education. This will be achieved through a comprehensive review of existing VET curricula and the development of new modules that integrate sustainable agricultural practices, digital innovations, and mentorship programs inspired by EU expertise. Additionally, the initiative will develop an e-learning platform to democratise access to best-in-class agricultural education, ensuring that students - especially those from rural areas - can benefit from high-quality training regardless of geographic barriers. By bridging the gap between traditional farming methods and emerging technological advancements, the project aims to strengthen green skills, enhance climate resilience, and promote food security. Furthermore, by engaging rural youth - particularly women - in vocational training, the initiative will help address socio-economic disparities, create new employment opportunities and strengthen local economies, ensuring long-term benefits for communities across Latin America.
