</script>"""CCTT- Career Counselling in Teachers' Training"" took place as a project of local and regional school authorities and training centres in cooperation with mainly secondary schools in Hesse/Germany, Andalusia/Spain, Wielkopolska/Poland and Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The project arose from the awareness that career orientation in schools must take place in a more diverse way and that teachers influence their students directly or indirectly in their career choices, but often have little prior knowledge and tools for shaping career orientation in the classroom. The aim of the project was to enable teachers to support their students in making a suitable decision about their career or study choice according to their individual abilities, interests and needs. Our project group consisted of 13 institutions with 27 directly involved members. Among these were teachers, employees in the education administration and trainers, all with previous experience in career orientation at schools. Based on a survey on the needs of teachers and pupils with regard to vocational orientation at their school, the project group developed a material package for immediate use in the classroom. This portfolio contains materials that are used to help1. students sensitize to their personal visions of their future and ""dreams"" and to specify those to map out the future, they are aiming for.2. develop students' personal profile by evaluating their self-perception and external perception of their person.3. students by means of a comprehensive questionnaire to take a closer look at their prerequisites and interests with regard to a career choice and instruct them in the design of a decision-making process.4. prepare students for the application process and job interviews in particular. The material package was successfully tested and introduced to the curriculum of the participating project schools.Teachers are supported by video tutorials and instructions in using the materials in the classroom without further extensive preparation. In order to honour the commitment of teachers to career orientation in their schools and to support profiling in the teaching profession and initiate further development of career counselling projects at schools, the project group offers an online certificate for which teachers can apply to the group."
