The proposed project aims to engage and empower young people in Albania, Montenegro, Serbia, and Spain, particularly those from rural and marginalized communities, in the digital world. The project seeks to develop the digital skills of young people while raising awareness about their digital rights, with a balanced approach that emphasizes both protection and participation in digital democracy. Through collaboration with grassroots youth NGOs, informal groups, networks, associations, public bodies, and media, the project will set up mechanisms and build capacities for policy dialogue in the field of digital rights and democracy. This aligns with the Call's thematic area of political participation, civic engagement, and dialogue with decision-makers. The project also addresses issues of youth participation in the digital world by enhancing capacities and raising awareness of the role of youth in digital democracy and their digital rights. This aligns with the Call's thematic area of digital skills, as the project will empower young people to exercise their digital rights and engage in digital democracy through the development of their digital skills. Furthermore, the project contributes to the Call's priority of fostering the development, testing, and launching of schemes and programs of non-formal learning mobility in third countries not associated with the Programme such as Albania and Montenegro. The project involves collaboration between organizations from different countries and will enable young people to engage in non-formal learning opportunities and gain experience in digital democracy and digital rights in different cultural contexts. Overall, the project seeks to empower young people to fully participate in digital democracy by equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to exercise their digital rights and engage in policy dialogue.
