The project addresses the critical barriers PwD face in accessing affordable and community-based housing by promoting cross-sector collaboration, digital innovation, and evidence-based policy recommendations.Through research and knowledge exchange, the project will analyze best practices and skill gaps, ensuring that training programs align with real-world needs. Capacity-building activities will upskill housing professionals, local authorities and service providers, equipping them with the tools to implement person-centered, non-segregated housing models. The MyService digital hub, a key innovation, will enhance access to housing resources, guiding PwD and their circle of support through the housing process. The project will also foster policy innovation, engaging key stakeholders in structured dialogues to develop actionable recommendations for sustainable inclusive housing policies. Policy roundtables will ensure alignment between local implementation and EU-level strategies, reinforcing the long-term impact of the project.By combining digital transformation, professional training, and stakeholder engagement, IN-HABIT will create a replicable framework for inclusive housing, benefiting not only participating countries but also influencing wider European housing policies. The project’s outcomes such as training materials, digital tools, and policy recommendations, will contribute to stronger, more inclusive housing systems, empowering PwD to live independently with dignity.
