e-TWIN - Enhancing Higher Education in MENA through Digital Twin Innovation

Description

The e-TWIN project offers a unique opportunity to enhance the digital competencies and capacities of the MENA HEIs, represented by Egypt and Tunisia, building on the know-how and strengths of EU HEIs, such as France and Italy. It is a three-year project in which academic and industrial partners cooperate to develop, integrate, and disseminate the adoption of digital twin technologies in higher education. The project is accordingly organized into three successive phases-Preparation, Development, and Implementation with distinct objectives, tasks, and deliverables. In summary, the modernization and innovative differentiations the project would make to MENA HEIs involve enhancement in quality of education and better relevance of curriculum to labour market requirements, and reinforcement of international cooperation. It also aims to foster innovation, sustainability, and strategic partnerships between higher education and industry to ultimately contribute to the SDGs.
