<< Objectives >>The AP-GAIED project aims to explore and define the potential of generative AI in education, ensuring its integration is ethical, effective, and aligned with educational goals. The project is aimed to define the application scope of generative AI in educational contexts (OB1), identify legal, ethical, and real-world issues related to its deployment (OB2), and propose a comprehensive curriculum for the effective use of generative AI in higher education (OB3).<< Implementation >>The AP-GAIED project will be implemented through five key phases. First, Project Management will ensure smooth coordination and execution. Next, Use Case Analysis and Literature Review will define the scope and ethical issues of generative AI in education. Following this, Curriculum Development will create an AI-based educational program. The Piloting phase will test the curriculum in higher education institutions. Finally, Dissemination will share results and ensure the project’s impact.<< Results >>The AP-GAIED project will produce three main results. R1 is a comprehensive report documenting the use cases of generative AI in education, providing practical insights. R2 is a detailed literature review identifying legal, ethical, and real-world challenges associated with AI in educational settings. R3 is a fully developed AI Literacy and Ethics Curriculum, designed to equip students and educators with essential AI skills and knowledge.
