InterPlusValue Erasmus+ : Appréhender codes et langages pour la gestion et la valorisation des situations de plurilinguisme et d'interculturalité en contexte éducatif européen

Description

"<< Background >>In most parts of Europe, education and training staff are increasingly working in a multilingual, intercultural and digital professional context. Similarly, when they undertake an exchange or mobility in Europe, they find themselves immersed in a situation of plurilingualism and interculturality. This confrontation is still often experienced as a problem rather than as an opportunity for openness and enrichment. The Interplusvalue Erasmus+ project takes this into account and brings together the need to manage situations of plurilingualism and interculturality with the learning needs of education, training or educational cooperation staff. It highlights the need for awareness and understanding and responds to it by enabling the appropriate approaches, appropriate learning and the encounter with the other, in person and at a distance via digital technology, from the local territory to the European level. It therefore provides skills that are contextualised to the situations experienced and a thoughtful opening to the world. The project responds to the need to open up to Europe, the need to understand cultural diversity and the need to meet other European educational actors and exchange on innovative and digital practices.<< Objectives >>Designed to be introduced as an Educational partnership project in response to the 2021 call for proposals in the Erasmus+ European programme. INTERPLUSVALUE ERASMUS+ is a program based on encounters, exchanges and shared reflective practice sessions in relation to situations of plurilingualism and interculturality in a European educational context. It is made up of a participatory training course, skills development and expertise which is naturally open to all educational and training staff (in primary and secondary schools, higher education, vocational training settings, associations and communities) who have direct contact and experience of these situations on a daily basis within their schools or organizations or in the context of cooperation or international mobility. The projects responds to 3 objectives :-To understand the cultural codes of learners and school educational partners in a teaching or training situation, cooperation, school exchange or european mobility-To Improve and develop pupils’ linguistic and cultural skills, so as to facilitate their integration and inclusion and strengthen learning capabilities helping them to build their identity and self esteem and thus preventing school, professional and social failure-To respond to intercultural and plurilingual situations faced by educational staff in schools, universities or organizations and during European exchanges or in mobility contexts<< Implementation >>During the project, the proposed activities will be both face-to-face and online.First, the leading preparatory training seminar in Brittany will launch the project. Representatives of each partner will be present, as well as participants from Brittany and abroad. The rest of the participants who cannot attend the seminar will be able to follow it at a distance. At the end of the seminar, the participants will choose their training curse. The different learning activities (local seminars for further training, conference cycles and other sessions) will take place face-to-face and at a distance and will constitute synchronous and asynchronous training modules. These activities will allow the acquisition of knowledge and skills from a dedicated website and the project's Twinspace, where the training modules will be put online.<< Results >>This project will enable educational leaders, training institutions and other stakeholders to have a renewed approach to interculturality and plurilingualism as assets and not as obstacles to learning. The training will enable participants to better experience intercultural situations and to value learners from other cultures. Learners with a command of other languages (""heritage languages"") will be valued and their knowledge will be put to good use. The choice of a long training course will ensure that the trained staff will have time to integrate and implement the methods and tools presented in a sustainable way.At the regional and European level, the project will allow for an international opening, a harmonisation of training between the cities of the different partner territories and will allow for a training policy throughout the European territory."
