The eTwinning National Support Organization of Hungary operates within the Educational Authority/Oktatási Hivatal and NSO belongs to the Pedagogical Services and Coordination Department since 2016. This organization has a wide access to schools and teachers in the public education.Our main priority – besides aiming to involve as many teachers and schools in the action as possible – is still to help teachers carry out quality projects and become confident ICT users who can make use of a variety of ICT tools according to their needs. Our main target groups are the teachers working in public education and VET school educators and the students we can reach through them. We also pay special attention to future teachers so that they can get acquainted with eTwinning during their teacher-training studies. We would like to involve more Initial Teacher Education institutions and provide them information and trainings on eTwinning. We involve 2 ITE Ambassadors in order to help our work with ITE trainers and student teachers.We also continue to operate our eTwinning Ambassador Network and we plan to increase the number of ambassadors by one or two persons.We continue the cooperation with the National Agency for the Erasmus +, Tempus Public Foundation. Our 30-hour and 50-hour accredited in-service teacher trainings are still the most successful activities. The online courses and webinars are popular too; therefore, we plan to continue them in the future. A very popular event of ours is the National eTwinning Competition and Children’s Day.We will organize a national professional conference (eTrend) in line with the annual theme, which is “the New European Bauhaus” for 2022. We also plan to organize an eTwinning seminar in 2023 with participation of 5-6 neighbouring countries.As part of our communication strategy we are present on social media, educational portals, educational exhibitions, Autumn and Spring Pedagogical Days organised by the PECs.
