Interdisciplinarity, conflict and video games are the three main components of the project, which help students (14-16 y/o) to acquire 21st-century skills (critical thinking, problem-solving, emotional intelligence) to enter the labor market, become active citizens and thrive in personal life. << Implementation >>WP2 identifies educational gaps, best practices and theory to produce a Virtual Learning Lab (VLL) with modules, interactive multimedia resources and micro-challenges on interdisciplinary learning using video games with conflict scenarios. WP3 uses the VLL to train secondary teachers using a customized pedagogical framework. WP4 engages students in opportunities to practically adopt interdisciplinarity and bridges the gap in academia on interdisciplinarity in secondary schools. << Results >>The project will result in a Virtual Learning Lab and pedagogical sequences with video games for secondary teachers’ training on interdisciplinary learning, video games as tools for education and conflict as a case study of multilayered, modern challenges, and subsequent adaptation in their lessons. Following the engagement and feedback of teachers and students, InterGames will culminate in a scientific report assessing the effectiveness of interdisciplinary learning in secondary schools.
