</script><< Background >>‘Mdiet’ is one of our latest European projects (2024-2025), in cooperation with Maltese and Turkish partners, which strives to meet the needs of current generations while protecting the quality and existence of the resources currently present on our planet. Sustainability is a crucial concept in today's world, as it encourages the responsible and efficient use of resources to ensure their availability for future generations and forces us to consider the long-term impact of our actions on the environment, society and the economy. The project also aims to increase the popularity of our Mediterranean cultural and food heritage among young people in order to combat climate change. It will encourage the sustainable use and consumption of resources, raise young people's awareness of their carbon and water footprints and encourage them to play an active part in reducing them by changing their eating habits, and turn them into eco-active citizens, keen to help solve these problems by adopting sustainable eating habits and practices.<< Objectives >>Together with Mdiet, we will be providing a training guide for youth workers and youth organisations on food, sharing best practice related to sustainable food, to be used in their daily environmental education work: This training guide will include practical advice and resources on how to educate young people about the environmental impact of their food choices, empower them to make sustainable food decisions, highlight the importance of promoting the consumption of local and seasonal food, reduce food waste and support sustainable farming practices.<< Implementation >>This project includes two training courses to be held between June and October 2024 in France and Malta for young people aged between 18 and 25 who are interested in climate change and learning about the world of sustainability.<< Results >>Nous avons malheureusement organisé que le training course à Marseille car l'association n'a pas pu faire face à ses difficultés financières. L'association FenêtreS a été liquidée le 8 octobre 2024.
