SEA-EU 2.0 - The European University of the Seas Alliance navigating towards modern and co-transformative inter-campus life; people-driven, planet-friendly and knowledge-based progress for all

Description

SEA-EU 2.0 is a geographically-balanced enlarged university alliance with a coastal and marine-maritime character as its hallmark. The distributed inter-partner open governance will consolidate transformative structures and dynamics that reinforce complementarities, multiculturalism and multilingualism in its nine nodes.Through proven internal and external evolving dynamics, SEA-EU 2.0 channels its own development while unfolding into a decisive co-transformative EHEA and ERA actor, intensifying the effect of high quality European HE missions. The integration of the social, green and digital transitions equips SEA-EU to spark the new genion of European HE Campus life into advanced forms of blended interactions, mobilities and international collaborations. In alignment with an encompassing set of multi-level policy targets (6 Commission priorities for 2019-24, UN SDGs…), SEA-EU 2.0 long-term vision reflects and reinforces the core European values based on people-driven, planet friendly, and science-based progress.Education and training approaches will offer exclusive lifelong learning opportunities to students of all ages. By blending academic rigor with citizen science, professional knowledge and policy vision, SEA-EU 2.0 will become a role model for novel knowledge integration pathways. Furthermore, R&I multi-stakeholders’ co-creative processes (inclusive, international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral collaborations) will result in a) novel ways to generate real societal impact of all HEIs’ missions; b) targeted and more effective knowledge transfer, and c) long-lasting entrepreneurial ecosystems. This will highly influence the design and implementation of modern integrated dissemination and communication plans with feedback and feedforward co-creation loops informing the SEA-EU 2.0 presence in society.
