<< Objectives >>The ROOTED IN UNITY project primary objective is to instil awareness and appreciation of European Common Values and Cultural Heritage, cultivating a sense of EU belonging from an early age, by providing primary/middle schools and teachers with comprehensive educational tools and strategies with a cross-curricular approach.<< Implementation >>The project aims to implement a series of activities that include the development and implementation of a new approach to European Common Values & Cultural Heritage, involving the development and implementation of digital learning resources, creation of exhibitions about the topic, delivery of an Activity Book aiming at developing critical thinking among other key transversal competences, and webinars that contribute to the teachers’ professional development in this knowledge area.<< Results >>The key outcomes of the project encompass a Digital Cards Collection, spotlighting symbols of European Common Values and Cultural Heritage across literature, traditions, music and more. An Exhibition Kit allowing schools to host exhibitions on the same themes, while an Activity Book presents engaging activities that stimulate discussion and foster critical thinking. Additionally, the project offers webinars to empower teachers in promoting European Common Values & Cultural Heritage.
