EmployVET - Engaging Employers for a Relevant and Resilient VET

Description

The general objective of the project is to strengthen the cooperation between VET providers and employers in the regions of Western Balkans in order to improve the relevance, responsiveness and quality of VET. Specific objective of the project is to build up the capacity of both employers organisations and VET providers to set and strengthen cooperation and involvement of employers in the design and delivery of VET taking into consideration the twin transition and the need for green and digital skills. Firstly partners will perform qualitative research involving different methods - national and transnational focus groups, desk research and benchmarking leading to Roadmap for Engaging Employers in VET in the analysed countries proposing next steps in the VET-business cooperation or more specifically the involvement of employers in the VET process from design to delivery and feedback of VET programs. This will be the base for the development of a capacity building training program for VET providers and employers organisations accompanied with a Guidebook with the goal of strengthening capacities in setting up the VET- business partnerships, attracting employers to engage in VET and embedding digital technology in training. A knowledge transfer study visit to SI will be organised to demonstrate how successful cooperation between VET and employers can function. Partners will organise a Train the trainer event in HR for preparing practitioners to pass these methods and expertise on to peers in BIH and MNE through national training events. In order to test the results, partners will perform a series of national workshops targeting employers. To gain sustainability, partners will organise a VET-Employers desk in BIH and MNE as a new point for sharing information and guidance for employers engaging in VET. Moreover, partners will lunch a campaign and build a network of employers ready to to participate in future design and delivery of VET by signing letters of intent.
