</script>EDUDER project is a transnational cooperation initiative for capacity building based on multilateral partnerships between 19 higher education institutions from 9 countries from Latin American countries and the European Union. The project was born in the framework of the Ibero-American Chair of Education in Human Rights, Critical Citizenship and Sustainable Development. EDUDER's main objective is to generate structures, through which to implement an intervention model, to guarantee real opportunities for the full exercise of the right to quality university education for the groups affected by the highest levels of vulnerability in Latin America. In order to address the existing social gap in Latin America, which limits access to education and hinders access to study and opportunities, especially for vulnerable groups, whose situation has been aggravated by the Covid-19 pandemic. In this sense, a series of activities are proposed: first, an analysis of the needs of the right to education in higher education in Latin America will be carried out. Each university will have to carry out a diagnosis and analysis of the good practices that influence student access. Secondly, and taking into account this analysis, an open, flexible and multipurpose intervention model will be defined, which will serve as a roadmap for transferring this support system adapted to the context of each university. Finally, this model will be subjected to a phase of experimentation and validation and will then be studied with a view to proposing a general model applicable to all universities. All these activities will address the university process from facilitating access to university, accompanying students during university and promoting employability once they finish university. All this seeks to reduce the impact of the social gap in access to higher education institutions, improving the inclusion and accessibility of vulnerable groups through the training of staff, teachers and students
