BET-Motors GmbH (Graz, Austria), established in 2023 by experienced automotive engineers and industry veteran C-level top executives from Europe’s leading automotive companies, such as VOLVO, AVL, etc. It is a leading Austrian deep-tech start-up at the forefront of heavy-duty transport electrification. The company specialises in developing battery powered fully electric rolling chassis with integrated powertrain for 42-tonne (Class 8 US, Category N3 in EU) trucks, among other applications, uniquely equipped with up to a 1,000 kWh (1 MWh) battery system that does not increase the vehicle’s tare weight. BET-Motors is the only electric truck chassis design with a driven front axle utilising maximum recuperation potential, achieving an ultra-low range efficiency of <0,8kWh/km. Beyond enabling long-range, zero-emission freight transport, BET-Motors’ patented and innovative “battery-onwheels” solution allows trucks to serve as mobile power sources, supplying energy to depots or the grid and creating additional revenue streams for operators. To date, ExoSkate™ (fully electric rolling chassis), has attracted great interest from Truck OEM manufacturers such as Volvo, Daimler, Scania and logistics e-commerce such as AMAZON who are interested in integrating our technology. Our rolling chassis is currently at TRL6 prototype, ready for the market in 2 years.
