La responsabilidad social corporativa y la cultura implícita en los medios de comunicación

Abstract

La teoría política no suele reservar un papel especialmente brillante a la empresa. Parece como si la realidad política pudiese reducirse por un lado a los meros individuos en tanto que ciudadanos y por otro a las instituciones políticas que representan sus intereses colectivos y que gobiernan el espacio público. Esta situación de elipsis de la empresa en el panorama público se hace todavía más llamativa si consideramos que los ciudadanos dedican, en general, muy poco tiempo a la política, mientras dedican una parte muy importante de sus vidas al trabajo y a la familia, una institución que tampoco aparece con el debido realce en el panorama teórico. Así, nos encontramos con que, en general y por sí mismas, ni familia ni empresa juegan un papel político especialmente definido y que éste suele limitarse a lo que en su nombre hacen distintas asociaciones empresariales o familiaristas.
