Abstract

[EN] Report and main conclusions of the Seminar Public research organizations and open access that was held at CSIC on October 24, 2011, on the occasion of the Open Access Week 2011. The seminar gathered technical staff and librarians from Spain's public research organizations as well as representatives from Spain's Ministry of Science and Innovation and its Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT). Main discussions addressed work done by each research organization in the bulding of institutional repositories, common challenges and the implications of the Open Access article in new Spain's Law of Science, approved in June 2011 and coming into force in December 2011.
