Abstract

Porque no podemos huir de la memoria. Esta frase de Emilio Lledó es la que elige Antonio Perejón para dar comienzo el libro que recoge el relato de un instituto que conoció de cerca, el Instituto Lucas Mallada de Investigaciones Geológicas del Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), un centro que nació en 1943 y pervivió hasta 1979. Y porque la memoria de lo vivido nos acompaña siempre (o casi), Antonio nos regala una narración muy necesaria, una semblanza de un periodo que para muchos está marcada de un tono gris oscuro en la historia de la ciencia española.
