La escasez de recursos y la transición energética

Abstract

La generación de energía requiere una transición de los combustibles fósiles a fuentes de energía que no generen CO2, tal como exige el Pacto Verde Europeo para que Europa sea climáticamente neutra en el año 2050. Para ello, es necesario abordar la descarbonización de la economía a nivel global. Para llevar a cabo esta necesaria tarea para luchar contra el calentamiento global, es necesario llevar a cabo una transición energética que sustituya los combustibles fósiles que utilizamos en este momento Este es un camino que debemos recorrer sin ignorar las dificultades: ¿Habrá recursos suficientes? ¿Deberíamos acelerar o ralentizar la transición? ¿Estamos agotando los recursos de nuestro planeta? ¿Cuánto cuesta la transición energética? En esta charla abordaremos estos y otros desafíos cruciales de la transición energética que nos permitirán justificar su necesidad y mejorar el conocimiento de la sociedad en este campo.
