Abstract

En un lejano planeta llamado Eos, una colonia humana vive décadas de primavera apacible, sin advertir el antiguo poder que late bajo su suelo. Cuando la Estación Oscura llega, el ecosistema muta con ferocidad, y unas criaturas semihumanas, de aspecto reptiliano, herederas de una civilización extinta, se alzan para reclamar su lugar. Aurora, la ciudad-colonia, se enfrenta al colapso: las cúpulas agrícolas se hunden, la hambruna arrecia y la violencia amenaza con disolver toda esperanza. En medio de la desesperación, un grupo diverso —una bióloga visionaria, un capitán herido, una líder mística y una consejera diplomática— descubre un rito ancestral que podría salvarlos. Pero el precio es radical: la humanidad debe renunciar a parte de su esencia para fusionarse con el planeta. Un sacrificio sangriento, un abrazo erótico con la fauna, la última vía para no perecer en la penumbra eterna de Eos
