Abstract

Reptiles y anfibios a pesar de ser representantes de grupos con diferentes orígenes son estudiados bajo la disciplina de la herpetología. Los reptiles actuales excluyendo aves representan más de 10.000 especies poseedoras de diversas morfologías y comportamientos. Quelonios cocodrilos tuataras y escamosos son los grupos que componen esta tradicional clase y además de su interesante biología ofrecen buenos modelos para estudios sobre patrones evolutivos.

Buena parte del curso se impartirá en las colecciones herpetologicas del museo. Colabora: Marta Calvo.
