Abstract

Los Principios FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) son directrices diseñadas para mejorar la gestión y el uso de datos científicos, asegurando que sean fáciles de encontrar, accesibles para todos, compatibles con otros datos y reutilizables en diversos contextos. Estos principios deben aplicarse en todas las fases de una investigación científica, desde la recolección de muestras hasta la publicación de los resultados en revistas científicas. En el ámbito de la Geología y las Ciencias de la Tierra, la recogida de muestras de roca en campo también debe seguir una serie de procedimientos para cumplir con los principios FAIR. Esta postal informativa presenta, en forma de infografía, los diferentes pasos a seguir para realizar una correcta recolección de muestras geológicas en campo y las acciones a realizar una vez de vuelta en el laboratorio, como la obtención de un International Generic Sample Number (IGSN) y la creación de una colección de muestras con un DOI identificable. Realizada mediante la Ayuda EPOS-SpN RED2022-134516-E financiada por MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033.
