Abstract

La proliferación este verano de las llamadas medusas "huevo frito" en el Mar Menor, una de las mayores lagunas saladas de Europa, es un primer indicador, según los expertos, de la recuperación de un ecosistema único colapsado por el vertido reiterado de aguas residuales contaminadas. Con 135 kilómetros cuadrados, esta albufera a orillas de la turística costa mediterránea española, ha vivido desde 2016 varios episodios de anoxia (falta de oxígeno) debido a la contaminación de las aguas por fertilizantes y nitratos
