Abstract

La Biblioteca Americanista de Sevilla va a dedicar el Día de la Biblioteca, 24 de octubre, a una persona que aunó las bibliotecas y el americanismo en su trayectoria personal y profesional: Luisa Cuesta Gutiérrez (1892-1962). Aunque casi siempre sería posible escribir, describir y descubrir más, la figura de esta bibliotecaria que también fue investigadora de América, ha sido tratada en profundidad en distintos trabajos, destacando el de otras dos compañeras bibliotecarias, Pilar Egoscozábal y María Luisa Mediavilla, La bibliotecaria Luisa Cuesta Gutiérrez (1892-1962) en la Revista General de Información y Documentación (vol. 22, 2012, pp. 169-187)
