Abstract

Com a part de les activitats de l'Ocean Cities Network, -un programa de deu anys secundat per UNESCO en el marc de la Dècada dels Oceans i que busca impulsar la relació entre les ciutats i la mar a través de la ciència-, l'ajuntament de Barcelona, des del Centre de la Platja i l'Institut de Ciències del Mar promouen "Octubre: Mes de les Ciutats Oceàniques". Aquest espai ha estat creat per a enfortir el vincle dels habitants de Barcelona -i altres ciutats al voltant del món- amb la mar i per a això se celebraran una sèrie d'esdeveniments per a destacar la seva relació amb l'oceà. Conversa sobre les passions que mouen la ciència: Jordi Oliva (GoodKarma Projects), activista i biòleg, Oriol Carrasco (PatìCientific), enginyer i estudiant de doctorat de Ciència Nàutica de la UPC i Xavier Salvador (ICM-CSIC), naturalista, biòleg i investigador
