La primera edición de este curso se ha centrado en explicar la ciencia abierta, y en particular el acceso abierto, la gestión de datos de investigación y la dimensión social de la ciencia, desde el enfoque de investigación e innovación responsables (RRI en sus siglas en inglés). RRI se compone de 6 pilares, a saber, igualdad de género, acceso abierto, compromiso ciudadano, educación científica, ética y gobernanza y se dedicó especial atención a diversas cuestiones de la ciencia abierta que deben tomarse en consideración a la hora de diseñar un proyecto de investigación e innovación responsables y llevarlo a la práctica. Para ello, se explicaron buenas prácticas, recomendaciones para la ciencia abierta y se comentaron ejemplos de políticas RRI y herramientas relacionadas gratuitas y de interés. El curso ha estado dirigido a personal técnico y científico del CSIC con nociones previas de ciencia abierta.
