Informe de Campaña Fletan Negro 3L 2019

Abstract

This report details the results of the “FLETAN NEGRO 3L” during 2019. FN3L19 is a Spanish research survey in NAFO Division 3L, outside the Canadian EEZ (on the Nose of the Grand Bank), targeting Greenland halibut and other commercial fish species. It was the sixteenth survey in the same area of a series that started in 2003. The aim of this survey was to get a deeper knowledge of demographic structure (length distribution) and the state of the stocks in this area in particular the Greenland halibut. This survey is cofinanced by the EU through the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (FEMP), within the National Program data collection, management and use of the fisheries sector and support for scientific advice in relation to the common fisheries policy.
