[ES] Desde el 2001 se han venido desarrollando distintos proyectos AECI-PCI sobre transferencia del conocimiento basados en la cooperación entre arqueólogos españoles del Laboratorio de Patrimonio del CSIC y de la UdelR de Uruguay. El principal objetivo es la creación de una unidad de investigación para el desarrollo de un Sistema de Información del Patrimonio Arqueológico Uruguayo (SIPAU), que supone un programa pionero para el diseño y la aplicación de técnivas de incremento cualitativo y eficiente en la gestión del Patrimonio Arqueològico Uruguayo.

[EN] Several AECI-PCI projects about transference of knowledge has been developped between archaeologists of Spain and Uruguay. The main aim is the creation of a research unit for the development of the Information System of the Uruguayan Archaeological Heritage (SIPAU). Constitutes a pioneer programme for the design and application of technologies to increase the quality and efficiency of the Uruguayan Archaeological Heritage management.
