Abstract

El Grupo de Mejora, Selección y Caracterización de Especies Leñosas, de la Estación Experimental de Aula Dei (CSIC), trabaja para aumentar la calidad de ciertas frutas. Los programas de mejora genética de frutales que se llevan a cabo en la Estación Experimental de Aula Dei centran sus objetivos en la selección de nuevos cultivares de melocotonero con alta calidad de fruto. Busca frutas con buena calidad organoléptica y ricas en compuestos bioactivos antioxidantes beneficiosos para la salud.
