La admirable estela de los genéticos españoles

Abstract

Zulueta dirigió desde 1913 el Laboratorio de Biología del MNCN, que tuvo su sede en los jardines de la Residencia de Estudiantes. Obtuvo un importante reconocimiento internacional por sus trabajos sobre la herencia genética ligada al sexo en el escarabajo Phytodecta variabilis. Fue también director del MNCN durante la guerra civil y, posteriormente, depurado. La exposición reúne documentos, libros, dibujos, fotografías e instrumentos científicos fundamentales para conocer la figura del ilustre genetista, muchos de ellos inéditos y actualmente conservados en la Residencia de Estudiantes, donde forman parte del legado de Fernando Galán y Antonio de Zulueta.
