Félix de Azara es un claro exponente del protagonismo alcanzado por los científicos españoles en el conocimiento de la naturaleza americana durante la Ilustración. Exploró la América meridional durante los años 1782 a 1801. Reconoció el terreno y descubrió a sus moradores. Secretos que desveló en sus libros a los ávidos lectores europeos. El personaje puede resultar hoy conocido pero no sucede igual con su dimensión científica. Nuestro objetivo será acercarnos a la figura conocer sus ideas y el porqué de aquella naturaleza magistralmente revelada.
