Abstract

Esta obra debemos enmarcarla en la ya dilatada trayectoria del Dr. Manuel Chust, profesor de la Universitat Jaume I, que ha venido alentando los estudios comparativos entre la realidad peninsular e iberoamericana en el periodo de las independencias de las repúblicas americanas. Un proceso que venía requiriendo desde hace tiempo de los encuentros que ha potenciado junto a otros colegas como Ivana Frasquet y Víctor Mínguez desde la pequeña pero dinámica universidad ubicada en Castellón, ya fuera desde la vertiente histórica o desde la iconográfica, las que confluyen en no pocas ocasiones en torno al proceso que aborda este libro colectivo
