Abstract

[ES] Procedimiento para la determinación de biomasa de atunes en una zona de agua y sistema correspondiente. Se disponen sumergidos bajo dicha zona de agua (1) unos metros de medida (2) con un sensor acústico y unos medios de captura de imágenes, en posiciones conocidas y dirigidos en dirección ascendente. Con las etapas siguientes: dicho sensor acústico realiza unas mediciones acústicas generando un ecograma; dichos medios de captura de imágenes capturan una secuencia de imágenes; se determina el número de atunes que han atravesado dicha zona de agua (1) utilizando dicho ecograma; se determina el tamaño y peso de los atunes utilizando dicha secuencia de imágenes; y se determina un valor de biomasa de atunes y del peso de los atunes.

[EN] Procedure for the determination of tuna biomass in a water zone and corresponding system. Submerged under said water zone (1) are measuring means (2) with an acoustic sensor and an image capture means, at known positions and directed in an upward direction. With the following stages: said acoustic sensor performs acoustic measurements generating an echogram; said image capture means capture a sequence of images; the number of tunas that have crossed said water zone (1) is determined using said echogram; the size and weight of the tunas is determined using said sequence of images; and a biomass value of tuna is determined from the number of tunas and the weight of the tunas.
