Las mujeres en la Real Sociedad Española de Historia Natural

Abstract

A pesar de que a lo largo de la historia de la Sociedad, contó con mujeres relevantes de la ciencia española, su presencia, fue poco significativa en sus etapas iniciales. Su número se fue incrementando a lo largo del siglo XX a medida que fueron ocupando puestos de trabajos relacionado con la docencia, la investigación o la conservación de las colecciones científicas. Hubo que esperar hasta 1990 para que la Sociedad tuviera su primera presidenta.
