Tormentas y sequías a la vista: el cambio climático está acelerando el ciclo del agua

Abstract

[ES] El ciclo hidrológico o ciclo del agua (evaporación, condensación, precipitación y recolección) se está acelerando debido al cambio climático (en especial, por el aumento de la temperatura del agua). Las consecuencias de esta alteración del proceso, por el que se incrementa la evaporación del agua del mar, pueden ser muy diversas, desde el incremento de las precipitaciones torrenciales (lluvias repentinas, intensas o violenta) hasta la intensificación de las sequías.

[CAT] L’escalfament global provocarà tempestes més freqüents i amb major intensitat a zones concretes i amb un augment del desgel en els pols. Ho confirma així un nou estudi liderat per l’Institut de Ciències del Mar (ICM-CSIC) de Barcelona i que s’ha publicat a la revista Scientific Reports
