El Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB), el Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona, l'Academia Europaea, el CosmoCaixa i l'ICM organitzen el cicle de conferències "La cooperació, força evolutiva. Lynn Margulis, 10 anys després", per commemorar el desè aniversari de la mort d'aquesta biòloga nord-americana, molt vinculada a Catalunya, que va expandir la teoria de l'evolució de Darwin predicant que la cooperació permet, a la vida, fer salts evolutius
