El relieve de la región occidental zamorana un modelo de evolución geomorfológica del borde hespérico

Abstract

Se estudia la evolución del relieve durante el terciario y cuaternario de la zona de contacto entre el macizo hercinica y los materiales terciarios de la cuenca del Duero en la provincia de Zamora. Los criterios utilizados son sobre todo de índole morfoestructural morfodinámico estratigráfico y mineralógico. Este modelo se establece según tres etapas fundamentales: 1- etapa inicial o de preparación; 2- etapa de génesis y modelado de la superficie fundamental; 3- etapa de destrucción por disección fluvial. Todo el modelo anterior es diseñado a partir del estudio correlativo del relieve y sus alteraciones y la sedimentación.
