Nace Natusfera, una nueva plataforma para compartir fotos de flora y fauna

Abstract

Los aficionados a la naturaleza podrán compartir fotografías e información de plantas y animales de España en la nueva plataforma digital de ciencia ciudadana Natusfera, presentada hoy, que nutrirá a bases de datos nacionales e internacionales sobre biodiversidad. La plataforma, creada por el Centro de Investigación Ecológica y Aplicaciones Forestales (CREAF) y la Infraestructura Mundial de Información sobre Biodiversidad (GBIF, en sus siglas en inglés), consta de un portal web y de una aplicación móvil que permitirá registrar y subir fotos, ubicación e información de flora y fauna. Durante la presentación de la iniciativa en el Real Jardín Botánico, sus creadores han explicado que Natusfera permitirá ampliar y mejorar los conocimientos sobre esta materia y los usuarios podrán crear sus propios "proyectos o cuadernos de campo virtuales".
