Abstract

[ES] Un reportaje sobre la sobrepesca, un problema mundial cada día más grave, que pone muchas especies en peligro de extinción. Los mares y océanos juegan un papel determinante en la regulación de los ecosistemas de nuestro planeta. El agua marina cubre más de dos tercios de la superficie de la Tierra, pero hoy la vida en los océanos sufre un proceso de cambio acelerado. La contaminación, el cambio climático y más directamente, la sobreexplotación pesquera, van agotando los recursos de toda la cadena trófica marina. Desde los grandes mamíferos, cetáceos y peces hasta la vida más invisible de los fondos de los océanos, nadie se escapa. Ya hace tiempo que organizaciones internacionales, como las Naciones Unidas, alertan de la necesidad urgente de parar un proceso que puede ser irreversible

Els mars i oceans juguen un paper determinant en la regulació dels ecosistemes del nostre planeta. L'aigua marina cobreix més de dos terços de la superfície de la Terra, però avui la vida als oceans pateix un procés de canvi accelerat. La contaminació, el canvi climàtic i més directament, la sobreexplotació pesquera, van esgotant els recursos de tota la cadena tròfica marina. Des dels grans mamífers, cetacis i peixos fins a la vida més invisible dels fons dels oceans, ningú no se n'escapa. Ja fa temps que organitzacions internacionals, com les Nacions Unides, alerten de la necessitat urgent d'aturar un procés que pot ser irreversible
