La Comissió Europea ha donat un toc d'alerta al govern espanyol perquè continuï subvencionant parcialment els costos de les renovables. Antoni Garcia-Olivares, investigador del CSIC-Recursos Naturals, comenta com les primes de les energies renovables han quedat frenades dintre del context de la crisi general, postura que s'hauria de revisar si entenem que estem en un moment de màxima producció de petroli i que s'han de desenvolupar altres fonts d'energia
