Abstract

El 29 de abril pasado el repositorio institucional de acceso abierto DIGITAL.CSIC alcanzó los 200.000 resultados de investigación de la comunidad CSIC. Aprovechando esta cifra simbólica, su Oficina Técnica ha querido resumir visualmente los principales hitos de una infraestructura que nació en 2008 para organizar, dar acceso abierto y preservar la producción científica de todos los centros e institutos del CSIC. Se trata de una herramienta que, por un lado, recoge la memoria científica del CSIC y, por otro, aumenta muy significativamente la visibilidad y la accesibilidad de tal acervo que es una parte importante de la Historia de la Ciencia en España. A día de hoy, DIGITAL.CSIC acumula más de 100 millones de descargas.
