Adición de vinaza de remolacha a la pulpa de remolacha: Ingestión y preferencias en el ganado ovino

Abstract

La adición de vinaza a la pulpa en la alimentación del ovino no influye negativamente en la palatabilidad y mejora la actividad degradativa de la microbiota ruminal cuando ésta se administra sola o con forrajes deficitarios en proteína degradable en el rumen La preferencia de las ovejas por la pulpa con vinaza podría estar relacionada con la palatabilidad de los distintos tipos de pulpa y también con su mayor contenido de proteína degradable, que podría estimular el crecimiento y la actividad de la microbiota ruminal.

El ptesente trabajo ha sido financiado por la Junta de Castilla y León (Proyecto CSI 07/04) y realizado en colaboración con el grupo de I+D de le empresa Azucarera Ebro, S.L.
