Abstract

La temática del estudio durante su estancia lleva por título “Efecto de la microestructura de partida en la formación de austenita en el intervalo intercrítico en hierros nodulares aleados con cobre y níquel. Hitos: - Mediante ensayos de dilatometría de alta resolución establecer las condiciones de tiempo y temperatura necesarias para determinar el efecto de las características del grafito y la perlita en la cinética de la formación de la austenita en el intervalo intercrítico, tanto en durante el calentamiento continuo como en el isotérmico. - Caracterización microestructural de distintas fases presentes tras los tratamientos térmicos aplicados, e.g. nódulos de grafito, ferrita, perlita, ferrita bainítica y martensita. - Determinación mediante la técnica de EPMA (Electron probe micro analyzer) de las características composicionales de las zonas segregadas cerca y entre nódulos de grafito. - Análisis y tratamiento de datos obtenidos por EPMA aplicando técnicas estadísticas de medición de errores. - Perfiles de concentración a partir de mapas EPMA - Desarrollo de un modelo cinético para el estudio de la formación de austenita a través de la aplicación de la ecuación de Avrami.
