La misa “Ut queant laxis” del compositor y maestro de capilla Francesc Valls (ca. 1671-1747) es una de las obras más importantes del barroco hispánico y está emparentada estilística y técnicamente con la otra gran producción del maestro, la famosa misa “Scala Aretina”. Aquí se presenta la transcripción a notación moderna de esta composición a la luz de los postulados teóricos que el propio Valls escribió en su tratado “Mapa Armónico Práctico”. Esta transcripción incluye las correspondientes partichelas y está lista para su interpretación por los conjuntos vocales e instrumentales especializados en música antigua.
