Abstract

Des del Neolític, deu mil anys d’història humana han fixat patrons de relació home-terra. Per al mar la situació és diferent per la percepció d’impacte humà menyspreable sobre un mitjà immens. La capacitat de l’home tecnològic d’influir apreciablement sobre la totalitat del planeta obliga a plantejar-nos quina capacitat real tenim de modificar el medi marí, com hem d’usar aquesta capacitat i amb quins objectius. Exemples concrets centrats en les nostres aigües costaneres mediterrànies ajuden a reflexionar sobre un tema la gestió del qual no admet demora i que ha de ser prioritari als centres de recerca marina
